We are looking for a Procure to Pay (P2P) Manager – Strategy & Systems within Finance Operations (FinOps). The Finance Operations team is a global team of finance professionals managing multiple areas including Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Payroll, and Controls & Compliance.
Role Description:
The Procure to Pay Manager – Strategy & Systems will be responsible for developing and driving our P2P strategy from Payee setup through Payout by continuously improving our P2P process and system design. You will have the opportunity to work closely across multiple teams at Microsoft including but not limited to Engineering, Finance, Controls and Compliance, and Procurement.
This position will lead a team of Subject Matter experts across the Procure to Pay discipline to create a best in class Procure to Pay system. The Strategy and Systems manager will also develop and drive go-to-market opportunities in partnership with our Center of Innovation team in FinOps and Engineering Partners.
The optimal candidate should demonstrate thought leadership capability and have a proven track record of success in business partnering, an ability to manage end to end processes, strong collaboration skills, the ability to influence others, and a strong background in Procure to Pay.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years management (e.g., people, project, process, vendor, change) experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 10+ years experience in program management, process management, process improvement
OR Master’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years program management experience, process management, process improvement
OR equivalent experience.
6+ years people management experience.
Solid strategic and tactical business skill; Must be comfortable working with ambiguity and adept at using data to influence business decision making.
A demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels within an organization and proven ability to establish trust quickly and create win-win situations.
