The 3rd Party Compliance Operations team’s mission is to ensure the compliance ecosystem of processes, organizations and systems effectively enable Microsoft and 3rd Parties to conduct business in a compliant and ethical manner. We are protecting the world from corruption and other serious ethics and compliance risks, by operationalizing at scale a broad set of capabilities to enhance experience while also protecting Microsoft through our compliance activities.

Position Description:
We are seeking a curious, growth-oriented 3rd Party Compliance Operations Program Manager to help us use process excellence, domain expertise, product knowledge and human intelligence to continuously evolve our operational performance and supporting processes for mitigating risk and keeping corrupt, fraudulent, or otherwise disallowed entities out of Microsoft’s ecosystems. This role will focus specifically on investigating and blocking bad actors from our ecosystem and use both process and system skills to manage an end to end solution. Partnering with our engineering development teams, you will bring the business requirements for joint development, drive feature enhancements and constantly monitor the process to seek out new opportunities to increase our protection services. You will be agile to react to potential breaches, investigate and drive remediation to any newly discovered gaps in our processes or systems.

Collaborate with internal and external domain experts designing and operating a robust operating model
Develop end-to-end expertise across third party risk and compliance domains, specializing in anti-corruption
Contribute to the definition of user stories & success criteria for engineering clarity
Build strong relationships for effective collaboration across the organization’s functional matrix
Collect and analyze operational data to find anomalies and root causes of issues
Continuously look for ways to simplify and drive process improvements and efficiencies
Push incremental process changes using data to continuously evolve and improve
Use data to drive better storytelling for service adoption & transparency
Identify requirements for program change from policy stakeholders, assess feasibility to deliver, create a working Plan of Record/roadmap items for enhancements/change, drive change control, proactively identify, and manage risks and issues, strong focus on escalation management/future mitigation, triage, cross group coordination and milestone management.
Define, coordinate & lead the rhythm of business (ROB) for the program and ensure alignment with the broader ROB for 3PC.
Define and track key performance indicators and metrics to measure the success of the program and drive accountability.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, IT or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience.
Experience in Operations, Sales, Business, Program Management, Product Management or Project Management
Ability to work effectively across cross-functional, global teams to drive for results and solve problems.
Detail oriented with experience in identifying an issue, investigating, developing a solution, implementing change and monitoring the results.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate uncertain situations to drive for clarity; work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-speed environment.
Ability to drive a project end to end from kick-off to delivery with quality
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
7+ years experience in the Vendor, Process, Product and/or Program management space with experience in security control compliance. This can be combined experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Security and risk management background, and/or with experience in trade or anti-corruption compliance.
Ability to identify and implement industry best practices to improve existing processes; demonstrable achievement within a results-driven, ambiguous and dynamic environment.
Experience driving successful product releases or program launches, end to end.
Experience translating expressed business needs into actionable requirement artifacts and specification documentation.
Experience creating and managing work items for projects leveraging methodologies such as SAFE, AGILE or SCRUM.
Self-starter with a strong passion for using data to influence business decisions and strategy investments.
Proven impact and influence skills – ability to work broadly across disparate groups to gain agreement on direction, integrate disparate opinions into cohesive strategy/message and present/defend recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to drive change management successfully in matrixed organizations.
Familiarity with various methods of data analytics and have strong BI skills with the ability to deliver insights from raw data.
