About the MCAPS Strategy & Operations organization:
We drive the development and execution of the Commercial strategy and field operating model. This includes how the organization benefits customers and partners, enabling MCAPS to support them more effectively, efficiently, and with competitive differentiation. The team builds the connective tissue across MCAPS Leadership and partners across Microsoft to gain alignment and leverage existing capabilities, while empowering our people to be nimble, agile, successful, and thrilled to work for Microsoft.
About Commercial Systems & BI (CSBI) team:

Responsibilities
Strategic initiatives: Help Ideate, plan, and track the progress of strategic projects
Business management: Coordinate with the business operations team to develop and maintain a ROB on budget, headcount, space, and other operational details.
Communications and operations: Manage operations of leader’s executive sponsorships, events, customer engagements, public relations, thought leadership, etc.
People and Culture priorities:
Build and evolve the role of the organization. Partner closely with HR and the LT to identify priorities and drive strategies to meet business goals.
Provide insights and listening systems to evaluate and improve organization and employee health.
Create a diverse and inclusive culture focused on increasing diverse representation, retention, and improving inclusion.
Drive a robust calendar of internal & customer communications including weekly team touchpoints, monthly town halls, manager check ins, customer engagements, and org mails.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
8+ years’ experience in fiscal management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a large IT organization with heavy cross-matrixed environment
Resiliency, independence, and ability to navigate through ambiguous challenges.
Strong written skills and ability to be effective in communications based on relevant audiences internally and externally.
Ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.
Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving skills.
Experience leading and orchestrating teams to achieve desired business results
Good business acumen & curiosity, including skill in understanding the industry, competition, and growth opportunities.
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) or equalivant.
Additional Details:
Location/Travel: US Remote. Routine travel and international travel in support of projects and organizational alignment will be occasional up to 25%, contingent upon Covid 19 travel restrictions.
Work Hours: This opportunity requires collaboration with worldwide stakeholders. Working on flexible business hours to connect with global stakeholders will be required to perform duties as outlined. Schedules will be flexible to support work-life balance and specific project/program needs.
The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $157,300 and $236,300.
At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
