About the Role:
As a Video Game Data Specialist on the Internet Game Database (IGDB) team, you will ensure the quality and quantity of the data entering our database. This is an excellent role for people who are passionate about data, video games, and the games industry.
Your responsibilities will be centered around data validation, maintenance, and working with large amounts of data independently. You will have opportunities to experience work with many other aspects of the games industry, including communicating with games developers, covering industry events, localization, and community management.
You’ll report to the Data Team manager, and will partner with teams across Twitch and IGDB to improve the gaming space and solve larger projects. We’re looking for teammates who will enjoy working in Photoshop and are fluent in multiple languages, including English and Swedish. And if you’re excited about upcoming video game technologies, even better.
