The AWS Global Real Estate Team is looking for a talented, experienced Lease Administrator based in our Seattle corporate office campus. In this role, you will be a key member of the Real Estate Team and will be responsible for creating and maintaining all lease administration functions to support the existing and expanding Data Center portfolio throughout the globe. The role will manage the lease database in Tango (software platform), accurately process all rent obligations, review and process all operating expenses, and conduct operating expense audits. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of competence in performing a full range of lease administration functions in an extremely fast paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
The person needs to be detailed oriented and a strong communicator that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.

About the team
The AWS Portfolio & Asset Management (PAM) Team consists of Lease Administration, Real Estate Purchasing, Contract Management, Asset Management and Portfolio Management. Our team is responsible for managing and optimizing the existing Real Estate and Colocation portfolios while driving operational efficiency. This includes supporting new transactions and operations of existing sites by reviewing deal terms, commencing and managing leases into the portfolio and ensuring all real estate and lease payments are made accurately, on-time and in compliance with Amazon’s Spending and Transaction Policy. We also assist in strategic planning for lease renewals, process improvements and implementations, while tracking critical lease and contract dates, driving cost savings, drafting and reviewing lease notices, and ensuring lease and contract compliance and that tenant rights are enforced. Our team liaises with Real Estate Transactions, Business Development, Legal, Finance, and Data Center Operations onsite. We are the main points of contact for landlords and onsite team escalations, including managing all tenant alterations and site improvements.
