The Workplace Specialist resides in the Occupational Health Group within the Return to Work group. The Workplace Specialist will be responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of Tesla’s growing catalogue of job profiles in addition to interfacing with injured workers to establish mechanisms of injury. The Workplace Specialist will focus on the clinical ergonomic aspect of Return to Work and will be ingrained into Tesla’s production processes to determine how injuries occur and where and how transitional work can be created, and to conduct necessary assessments to support the reintroduction of potentially at-risk employees within the workforce.

Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredit college, preferably in ergonomics
Minimum of 5+ years in an Ergonomics and/or Return to Work role
Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of employee personnel.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.

Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment where demands and priorities change rapidly
Experience and adeptness working in a fast-paced environment
