The ideal candidate has a good mix of mechanical, electrical and process engineering skills and possesses a strong hands-on assembly skills.
Responsibilities:
Build tooling assemblies and subassemblies to ship to global teams.
Participate in critical project activities both onsite and offsite.
Clearly and effectively communicate about quality issues on the production floor.
Establish and maintain a positive rapport with supervisors from multiple areas; work closely with various departments to support production and field service engineering.
Support projects with aggressive timeline and rapidly changing priority
Travel to support critical requests in the field as needed.
Support logistic handling of part shipment/receiving.
Requirements:
Able to travel 10-25% of the time
Skilled with hand tools and power tools
Great mechanical fabrication & electrical prototyping skills
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, strong team-player
Ability to change direction quickly and manage multiple projects and priorities at once
Certification to drive box trucks and flatbed trucks
Hands on field assembly experience in renewable energy preferred
