Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience using SQL and a scripting language (e.g., R, Python).
Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience managing business planning, reporting, and analyses for product areas and projects.
Experience providing executive management with clear insights into drivers of user metrics, business, costs, market trends, risks, and opportunities leading to business growth, product decisions, and optimize the end-to-end profit and loss.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytical frameworks for understanding, improving business, and financial performance.
Ability to identify and implement metrics and reporting tools to measure business results and success.
Ability to partner with product leadership to evaluate, structure, and execute business plans and growth initiatives.

Acting as business area CFO’s and financial consultants, the Google Ads Product Finance Team is focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big-picture challenges.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic analysis and forecasting of Google’s emerging publisher products.
Develop data-backed recommendations and deliver to executive audiences to drive impact even under ambiguity.
Partner effectively across a team of Analysts to deliver statistically sound business forecasts, for emerging areas of Google’s publisher business.
Model and structure the economics of publisher partnership agreements and investment strategies.
