The Worldwide Financial Services Industry Team is responsible to lead Microsoft’s cloud strategy in the financial services industry. Regulatory compliance leadership is key to this strategy – with financial services regulators, and with financial services customers. Building an operational program to lead in our regulatory compliance initiatives across our three clouds – Azure, M365 and Dynamics 365 – is central to this mission. This includes driving regulator engagement at global scale, understanding regulatory compliance needs of our customers, evangelizing and building scalable programs for sales teams to enable customers to conduct risk assessments of our cloud services, and to drive other strategic regulatory compliance-related programs. Helping scale a readiness engine to support sales teams in customer risk assessments of our cloud services is an essential component to this work, which requires working with engineering teams and marketing and readiness teams to deliver such important content to the field.
This role is perfect for someone that is a builder and loves to work on defining, leading and landing end to end operational readiness, has some depth of technical knowledge of our cloud services from a regulatory, security and privacy perspective, has similar exposure to the financial services regulatory landscape, and would like to take an idea from inception to fruition. In this role, you will work with many stakeholders to help execute an operation plan to evangelize our compliance leadership for financial services at global scale. Understanding our field structure, different responsibilities of teams, orchestrating and landing scalable readiness content for the field, with training and field resources, is an important element to success in this position. Obsession and empathy for customer needs and demands, including from regulatory perspectives, is essential to this role. Being a strong collaborator among different groups is important.
