This role is responsible for all AmazonSmile Charity operations WW, including creating programs, processes and identifying tools to facilitate Charity outreach, onboarding and support. To date over 350K US charities are registered with AmazonSmile, with over 1M more eligible for participation. This role oversees the operations and success metrics of AmazonSmile’s charity support team, and is the main point of contact for Charities looking to engage with AmazonSmile’s program and products which include our 0.5% donation program on browser and app, and Charity Lists, which enables charities to create registries of needed items in ways that supports their institutional needs. The role is also responsible for overseeing financial operations which includes overseeing disbursements to charities and running quarterly board meetings for the AmazonSmile Foundation. In addition, this role, working with legal, compliance, fraud, PR and public policy defines program eligibility guidelines and processes for oversight and enforcement including creating methods for finding and catching bad actors.
Success in this role requires strong program management, research and data analysis capabilities and process optimization skills.
About the team
We have three two-pizza development teams (SDM, TPM, eight developers), an Analytics team (two Des and a BIE), a Marketing and Program Management team, and a dedicated Designer. We are a fun team that collaborates closely and communicates transparently. We look to experiment quickly and ‘fail fast’ so that we can find the biggest opportunities for customers.
