Job Description:

Position Summary

Accountable for scrum team execution and optimization of work flow as well as application production stability.

Daily responsibilities

• Coaches the team in the agile process and helps apply the principles

• Coordinates and facilitates scrum team ceremonies including daily stand-ups, story grooming sessions, and retrospectives (meetings start at 8:30 ET to accommodate both US and India participants)

• Helps the team break down stories into a manageable amount of work

• Ensure team stays on track to meet goals and objectives

• Acts as the voice of the team and protects the team from outside influence and distractions

• Manages, resolves and escalates team level impediments as appropriate

• Reports team plans, results and issues and tracks scrum team performance

• Takes accountability for the health of the team and drives for continuous improvement

• Coordinates estimation of initiative projects

• Attends prioritization and integration meetings

• Works with release management team to ensure that the team deliverables meet RM requirements

• Participates in production deployment and communicates status

• Performs triage for any defect identified in relation to scrum team deployment

Required Skills

• At least 7+years of applicable scrum experience.

• 3+ years Agile experience required. (Agile certification strongly preferred)

• Experience writing Agile stories.

• Competency with writing SQL.

• Proficiency in JIRA.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive consensus amongst business and tech partners in order to meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of Microsoft OS and proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.

• Excellent communication and written skills.

Desired Skills

• Experience working with virtual teams (e.g. onshore/offshore model) is a plus.
