Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in product management with technical products.
Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, UX/UI, Program Management, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree in a technology or business related field.
Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, hardware, and operating systems.
Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
Experience effectively working with multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing.
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

Pigweed is Google’s open source microcontroller platform.This role will define the strategy and execute on it to improve microcontroller and embedded systems, including platform capabilities, APIs, developer experience, and tooling.
Pigweed helps teams get to market faster, by relieving them of many low-level microcontroller concerns, such as logging systems, over-the-air update system, factory tests, continuous on-hardware platform tests, unit testing systems and more. Pigweed brings modern software practices to the traditionally C-oriented and more conservative embedded software ecosystem, enabling non-embedded engineers to develop production-grade embedded firmware.
As a Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally to develop the roadmap, additional capabilities, and partnerships to create a successful microcontroller platform and embedded systems offering for device creators.

Responsibilities
Identify opportunities and setting a clear vision and strategy to drive the roadmap for for embedded systems, capabilities, platform APIs, developer tool, and define and improve the developer experience.
Leverage open source Google systems Pigweed and Fuchsia to create compelling solutions for customers.
Support client teams, ensuring current and future clients create and maintain successful products.
Partner with Engineering, Product, marketing, and Business Development and other teams within Google and beyond to grow a rich and vibrant ecosystem.
Understand industry landscape, competitive products, and customer needs to evolve holistic strategic plans.
