As the leader for the Global Workplace Services (GWS) Finance team, you will lead the global team in its charter to enable and support the GWS (Real Estate and Facilities) organization and will partner with the GWS CVP. The GWS Finance team is responsible for financial performance management, including financial reporting and analysis, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, accounting controls and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
As the leader for GWS Finance Team, you will be focused on leading the team and be an active member of the CSF & MAVS LT guiding teams through their continued transformation and growth in new capabilities in support of business insights and foresight
As a manager, you will deliver impact with and through others, using opportunities to coach, model and care for a highly motivated and energized team
Be a cultural champion for inclusion, growth mindset, and establish norms that support consistent quality employee and partner experiences
Develop trusted business partnerships with GWS CVP and LT through deep understanding of their business and proactive financial management, as well as strengthening relationships with other key stakeholders
Proactively drive robust financial models to help guide / influence business decisions and to support the forecast and planning cycles with a high attention to detail
Lead key financial rhythms that include working closely with many different work stream owners to meet P&L objectives, and build an independent viewpoint to provide team-based outlook, including risk assessments and mitigating steps
Monitor business health, P&L trends, key drivers, resource investments needs against plan/forecast assumptions and propose spend optimization where appropriate.
Drive cost efficacy initiatives through financial analysis, reporting and process improvements
Enhance existing processes for consistency, standardization and to increase efficiencies and implement new financial processes as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 10+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
OR equivalent experience.

Strategic thinker, strong planner and organizational agility to drive continued business transformation and controllership excellence
Strong conceptual understanding and ability to articulate application of financial principles to business space
Ability to drive accountability and execution frameworks at a working team to executive level
Outstanding written & verbal communication skills and experience
Must be extremely collaborative and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, creating effective internal business partnerships
Demonstrated ability to effectively translate financial analysis and insights into meaningful and actionable business communications and recommendations
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have excellent attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines.
BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, MBA, MS degree in related field or equivalent experience
