Our mission is to deliver a private cloud offering which extends Google Cloud’s addressable market, providing a solution for the public sector and enterprises with sensitive or regulatory concerns.
In this role, you will work with Product Management, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Partnership, Professional Services, and Support) to develop business-level and product strategies (e.g., multi-year business plan, specific product strategies, product or market entry business cases, and go-to-market strategy), drive ad-hoc strategic projects (e.g., partner models, business cases, etc.), incubate initiatives, provide analytics support (e.g., define key business metrics, perform in-depth analysis or market analysis to answer important questions on product trends/business performance), and facilitate operating the business (i.e. orchestrate business reviews).
Responsibilities
Define and track key product/business metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, and drive annual planning across prioritized initiatives.
Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish across the product area, including cross-functional project teams in structuring and executing analyses.
Develop market and strategic analyses, commercial models, pricing/packaging strategies, business case, and financial models/projections with leadership and product management teams (e.g., market sizing, buy/build/partner assessment, game theory, etc.).
Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Strategic Partnerships, Channel Strategy and Incentives, Customer Engineering, and Solutions Architect) to drive product-specific go-to-market strategies and community feedback.
Analyze key metrics, identifying initial insights and undertaking follow-up in-depth analysis to provide insightful data-driven, strategic recommendations to leadership based on strategic insights, analysis, experience, technical acumen, and good judgment.
