We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead efforts to refine and improve the docs.microsoft.com site and technical documentation experiences. You will research customer needs, partner with stakeholders across the company to define the requirements, work with designers and developers to create and test solutions, and dig into the data to establish KPIs that will track the success of new and improved experiences. Docs is core to enabling every Microsoft product and service success and this role is at the center of defining the Docs experience.
Responsibilities
End-to-end Product Owner for key docs.microsoft.com experiences.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, PM, marketing, and other Microsoft teams.
Design & execute projects against Content & Learning’s strategy.
Devise creative, measurable ideas to drive customer engagement and retention.
Drive full rollout of complicated features that require changes across millions of pages of content.
Exchange ideas, data, and feedback across the organization to promote the value of cross-organizational partnership.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in a Program Manager or Product Manager capacity.
1+ years of experience working with one or more of the following program languages/tools or something equivalent: PowerShell, Azure PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years working as a Developer or Technical Writer.
Familiarity with common technical formats such as JSON, YAML, and Markdown.
Strong written/verbal communication skills. Authors compelling documents that drive clarity and plans of action.
Experience with documentation generation tools is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, strategic, and creative thinking skills. Commands the respect of developers and designers.
Experience working remotely (if not located in Seattle).
Experience with a data-driven mindset and ability to experiment, learn, and improve.
