Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience working with digital advertising and/or gaming app business generation in a client-facing role (ex. sales, advertising agencies, account management, etc.).
- Experience in international business, including developing and executing international expansion plans and working in multiple countries and cultures.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or advanced professional degree in a relevant field.
- Sales management experience, preferably in an advertising context.
- Experience coaching and managing account executives or senior sellers towards targets.
- Experience managing and cultivating C-Level relationships, and other relationships in highly matrixed organizations.
- Knowledge and established relationships within a specific region and/or the display advertising (interactive marketing) industry.
- Knowledge of traditional and contemporary/online marketing tactics and strategy.

As the Head of Industry, International Growth, you will lead a team of International Growth Consultants to support Google Customer Solutions clients build and execute on strategic go-to-market plans in their non-domestic footprint. Working with a range of client-direct, agency, full service provider, and app clients, you’ll coach your team of consultants to understand customer business objectives, identify international growth markets, and build meaningful C-level relationships to set customers up for success.
You will also work with the Sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. You will help teams deliver on targets and partner directly with clients to exceed business and merchant growth targets across markets and verticals.

Responsibilities
- Manage a core sales team and engage with cross-functional talent to deliver insights, ideas, and customer service that drives business growth for our clients, and for Google.
- Lead International Growth for our priority customers in the Americas and develop/foster C-Level relationships across the book.
- Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid strategic business plans, and lead preparation and delivery of strategic business presentations and narratives.
- Partner with leaders of other teams to develop thought leadership that equips teams across the Global Business Organization (GBO) to deliver business growth, and attract, develop and retain the very best talent in all roles across the team.
- Identify high-impact export opportunities based on existing frameworks and tools, and develop new ideas and approaches to drive export growth for your assigned portfolio.
