Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in product management with technical products.
Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product vision, Go-To-Market strategy, driving requirements, and product launches.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, UX/UI, Program Management, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with operating systems and software development (i.e., C++ and Rust).
Experience building and growing relationships internally, across the company, and externally with tool vendors.
Knowledge and understanding of debugging, profiling, and other insights to rapidly ship high-quality software and products.

Fuchsia is an open source operating system created at Google that is currently under active development. We are building Fuchsia from the kernel up to meet the needs of today’s growing ecosystem of connected devices.
As a Product Manager, you will define and grow the Fuchsia developer experience across tools, services, code, and platform. Some of the focus areas include debugging, profiling, forensics, tracing, and actionable insights. You will engage on platform capabilities, Application Programming Interface (APIs), developer workflows, custom tools (i.e., command line and graphical), and integrations with industry standards/tooling.
In this role, you will create/drive strategies to engage with and partner with kernel, platform, tools, UX, and users on the development/delivery of Fuchsia’s code insights capabilities and tools.

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Responsibilities
Set a clear vision/strategy to drive the roadmap for the Fuchsia’s developer experience (i.e., profiling and debugging, platform APIs, developer tools, and overall code insights experience).
Lead and define the developer experience for debugging and profiling for Fuchsia code and systems.
Advocate for the developer internally and ensure the execution/delivery of high-quality developer experiences.
Drive the vision and strategy into the larger narrative of Fuchsia’s overall developer experience.
