Work within Meta’s automated provisioning and workflow management systems
Act as first point of contact for cross-functional teams
Responsible for assisting with the receiving, moving, and decommissioning of equipment throughout the data center
Identify and help create documentation for the global data center knowledge base
Use data to assist with process improvements and best practices in data center operations
Participate in on-call rotation (once a month on call for a week, after hours, first point of contact)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in technical field, or equivalent experience/certification
Basic knowledge of Linux and/or server hardware support
Experience in planning and project management
Experience working in diverse teams to achieve a common goal
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Desire to understand the physical data center facility components and how they form an ecosystem with compute
Conceptual knowledge of technologies such as HTTP, DNS, RAID, and DHCP
