The Amazon Adtech team seeks a Business Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills to join our team. Facing many challenging and interesting business problems, we develop deterministic and probabilistic algorithms based on the latest statistics tools and data mining methodologies. You can help us discover problems, solve problems, and build metrics to impact the core business of Amazon Adtech. In a typical day, you will work closely with talented software engineers, scientists, and various business groups. You are an individual with outstanding analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, good business understanding, and technically savvy. The successful candidate will be a general problem solver who enjoys diving into data, is excited about investigations, can multi-task, and can credibly coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Prepare and analyze weekly reports and dashboards with key metrics for uncovering trends and performance. Build metrics and analyze key inputs. Provide analytical support to Product and engineering teams.

About the team
Amazon Advertising is growing at a feverish pace and identity plays a key role in adding intelligence into the ad workflow for use by multiple other systems downstream. We are spearheading innovation for the existential challenges in AdTech today: The need for reliably establishing customer identity in a world without 3P cookies or Device identifiers. We are building robust privacy compliant solutions atop tech such as Hashed Identifiers, Smart Tokens(JWT), Big data (Identity Graph) and ML (High confidence Resolution) within the team. Our tech stack is designed atop the best of AWS technologies and we operate at internet scale.
Prepare and analyze weekly reports and dashboards with key metrics for uncovering trends and performance. Provide analytical support to Product and engineering teams. Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, or an equivalent quantitative field · 1+ years of industry experience working as a BIE or related specialty · Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling · Experience working as a BIE in a technology company · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Experience working in a remote setting
