We are looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to join a team of professionals responsible for providing the best in emergency response, risk reduction, and security services at Amazon facilities. This Business Intelligence Manager will help the Emergency Services Unit (ESU) discover insights to drive strategic business decisions by initiating research and analysis that identifies current trends and key performance indicators affecting key customer engagements, strategic planning, and performance measurement.

Key job responsibilities
Support the design, development, and maintenance of automated reporting, dashboards, and analyses to drive key business decisions enabling our team to improve processes, procedures, products, and services.
Participate in ad-hoc, monthly, and quarterly leadership meetings to understand information requirements, bridge the gap between information technology and business operations, and recommend new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve business operations.
Find and create ways to measure and analyze customer feedback and recommend improved processes and strategies.
Be curious to evaluate quantitative data to identify patterns and how they relate to delivering exceptional business outcomes.
Compile team goals, track key deliverables, and follow up on outstanding items.
Interface with internal teams to identify new business initiatives and apply best practices to emerging projects.
Master’s degree in Quantitative Data Analysis, Statistics, Law and Policy, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
5+ years of work experience researching, analyzing and interpreting data as a business analyst or in a similar capacity.
Familiarity with data organization and visualization tools (including SQL, Airtable, Qualtrics, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon Quicksight).
1+ years of work experience providing corporate asset protection and security services.
Ability to generate simple and inventive solutions to deliver business value in an iterative way.
Experience building data-driven mechanisms that benefit the business and improve the customer experience.
