Job summary
Amazon is seeking an Executive Social Media leader to join its Corporate Communications team. This role will support social media strategy for select executives. The right candidate possesses extensive executive communications experience working directly with senior leaders to develop successful communications objectives. They will have deep social media expertise, both in terms of strategy, and flawless execution.
The successful candidate will be a creative, enthusiastic storyteller – strategizing and writing, working with executives in the office, and the field, and occasionally capturing social content as it happens. This individual will collaborate closely with executive communications counterparts on events, news announcements, and more. They will have the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, and have a track record of earning trust and delivering results while working with disparate stakeholders from across the company, and externally.
This candidate is a self-starter and leader with meticulous attention to detail and the proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. They will be organized and motivated to invent, evolve, and activate complex content strategies across multiple channels.
This position is located in Seattle and requires periodic travel.
