The Talent Assessment (TA) team builds and implements solutions which support Amazon’s global recruiting and selection process. As a member of TA’s operations team you will work closely with Industrial and Organizational Psychologists to support the development of new candidate assessment tools, Project Managers to support the implementation of these new solutions, and the Amazon business units that make up TA’s internal customer base. You will be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on all country assessment workflows and integrations globally and assisting our user population in troubleshooting issues related to assessments. You will support the requirements gathering process, author new solutions in our assessment platform, execute testing plans and provide ongoing maintenance support.
The TA operations group supports a team of global Project Managers who own new solution development and deployment within the assessment space. As a critical member of the operations team, you will support internal communications, vendor coordination, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
The operations team owns QA, documentation, SOP development, continuous improvement and reporting. You will be expected to follow prescribed guidelines in all your work and/or help create these guidelines as we build and optimize TA’s infrastructure for maximum efficiency. A focus on quality, compliance, process improvement and attention to detail will be critical in all your work. A desire to take things apart to see how they work will be helpful, while trepidation in the face of new technology will be a non-starter. Working through ambiguity and simplifying complexity will be a daily challenge.
