About the team
The Private Brand Product Safety and Compliance (PBPSC) team enables compliance and ensures the safety of Amazon’s Private Brand products globally. This begins upstream, where our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) advise on product-level requirements and impact of new regulations by defining testing protocols for our Private Brand businesses. Midstream, our program enablement team utilizes tools from the technology ecosystem to build processes that enable new product launches and market expansion.
To measure our effectiveness, our downstream “post-launch” teams conduct independent audits of product compliance (Surveillance) and monitor and investigate reported customer concerns (Product Safety Investigations).
