Amazon Web Services (AWS), US ADC Security is currently seeking an Sr. Security Specialist to help design and implement a strategy to scale and manage the AWS DoD security program that is compliant with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and ICDs. We are looking for an enthusiastic person with deep customer focus that can scale our program to meet the demands of multiple customers. Excellent communications skills and strategic planning skills are a must.
Key job responsibilities
Provide support to the security leadership that includes interfacing with Program Managers and engagement teams to address security issues and ensure that we are seen as a business enabler.
Collaborate with other FSOs/AFSOs and other members of US ADC Security for security metrics as well as escalating possible issues to leadership that could impact operations.
Implement the Security Awareness, Trainings and Education program.
Assist with meetings in Closed Area’s/SCIFs.
Conduct Courier, NATO and other security briefings.
Process SCI and SAP nominations for personnel supporting various efforts.
Coordinate classified meetings.
Coordinate all SCI/SAP security education programs; perform SCI/SAP/SAR briefings/debriefings and annual refresher training.
Processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records
Maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control.
Assist in the maintenance of facility access control entry systems.
Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government.
Follow and enforce the AWS Security Standard Operating Procedures.
Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities.
Update security systems.
Perform other support functions as directed by the FSOs/CSSOs
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.
