Job summary
AWS Monetization is one of the pillars within AWS Commerce Platform, a set of services that AWS customers use to access, organize, understand, control, and optimize their cloud infrastructure and spend. Commerce Platform provides granular usage data, computes charges, issues invoices, provides mechanisms for customers to settle those charges, protects AWS and its customers from fraudulent usage, and tracks all this information for the company’s benefit in the Data Warehouse. The Private Pricing Program is a fast-growing global organization that drives the AWS business by creating long term strategic relationships with our customers to grow their use of AWS services. It sits at the intersection of AWS Platform, Services, Sales, and Legal teams, and interacts with our most strategic customers.

AWS Monetization is looking for a custom billing Analyst to support monthly operations of pricing and billing programs. This successful candidate must be a self-motivated, detail oriented, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. This candidate must be able to adapt to constant change in business requirements and also work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints. The analyst will deal with ambiguous problems, work with product teams on finding solutions, and will drive towards simple solutions to complex problems. This analyst will also be the Subject Matter Expert on billing issues, who dives deep to understand the underlying issues to help a customer resolve problem.
