Job summary
AWS Commerce Platform is hiring a Technical Program Manager to drive a set of large scale, cross-team programs. As one of the foundational services within AWS, Commerce Platform is used by almost every AWS service to capture customer usage, calculate their bills, and deliver invoices. In this role, you will create reusable mechanisms to monitor, track, and audit the full breadth of initiatives for Commerce Platform. As a member of a new team looking across multiple pillars of the business, you will collaborate with a team of product owners and be expected to help senior leadership celebrate business wins and audit our key performance indicators.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with large scale billing and invoicing solutions with the ability to dive deep into problem areas. You don’t have to be able to solve every problem, but should be very comfortable finding someone who does. You’ll be required to learn about technical systems and their interconnections, while building relationships across multiple business leaders. You can dive deep into problems with data and create sustainable plans to monitor the team’s progress in solving them. You are an excellent communicator and are comfortable with ambiguity.

As a program manager for Commerce Platform Strategic Initiatives, your responsibilities will include:
Building durable mechanisms for collecting feature roadmaps for customer presentations and internal operating plans
Preparing and presenting our Monthly Business Review (MBR) across all of the Commerce Platform Pillars
