Full-time positions will occur in 2 installments. $1000 payable after 4 weeks and $2,000 after 12 weeks.

Who are you?

As a Food Production Associate, you will work in our kitchen to produce delicious, fresh-prepared food items for customers across Amazon’s grocery businesses. You will contribute to a successful team culture by owning your work, delivering on your goals, jumping in on tasks when asked to help, and remaining flexible to change. You possess strong attention to detail, the ability to quickly prioritize tasks, are a team player, and always stay motivated even when doing repetitive tasks. Some of our roles include dishwashing, prep work, or handling of food.

Job Responsibilities

• Keep track of daily tasks and timelines to ensure goals are met
• Maintain a clean and orderly work space
• Adhere to high level of safety and quality standards
• Identify and communicate quality issues or barriers to completing the assigned tasks
• Follow standard processes and identify opportunities for improvements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Adhere to and maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Act with integrity and honesty
• Work a schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Possess and/or be able to obtain local food handling certification where required

Perform the following tasks:

• Stand on your feet during shifts lasting up to 10 hours
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work in a cold refrigerated environment – 40F and below (cold gear will be provided)
• Work with or be exposed to a wide range of food products including but not limited to poultry, pork, beef, seafood, nuts, egg, dairy, soy, grains, bread, etc.
• Perform repetitive motions for long periods of time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

High school or equivalent diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working with perishable foods, such as produce, deli, bakery, meat, seafood, food production, or in a kitchen

Understanding of GMP guidelines in food processing
