Amazon Registry Services Inc. (“ARSI”) is a unique, greenfield opportunity at Amazon. We aim to fundamentally change the fabric of the Internet by re-imagining how generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs) are used as the core of an individual or organization’s internet presence or identity. We partner with teams across Amazon (i.e. AWS, Alexa, Echo, Kindle, Amazon Pay, and others) to work backwards from the customer and build innovative new services, solutions and business models for the 55 new gTLDs in our current portfolio. We are looking for a self-starter to work fast and help establish our data environment. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical problem solver, extremely detail oriented, customer obsessed, and business savvy.
We are looking for a Front End Engineer to play a central role within the engineering team for a key gTLD. In this role, you will play an engineering leadership role in the development of the product portfolio. You will contribute to key architectural decisions, building a robust and scalable new product used by developers and consumers. This is an opportunity to be involved in shaping this exciting new space from the ground up.
The successful candidate will be comfortable in operating in an ambiguous space with strong technical aptitude, project management skills, and with demonstrated ability in building products and APIs services. You must be able to make both strategic and tactical decisions. You should be innovative, have effective engineering leadership, communication skills, and be team oriented. You must excel in navigating cross-functional efforts and be adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into highly scalable yet simple products that our audience will love.
