Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a global leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking a talented program manager to drive impactful cross-functional initiatives and customer engagements. This person will own mechanisms across the Solutions Architect team, in coordination with senior leadership. You must be comfortable working cross functionally and demonstrate bias for action. Being able to establish trust with a variety of stakeholders, improve processes, and find creative ways to remove blockers are paramount to success.
The ideal candidate will be fully competent in a variety of program management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, resources, risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking.
The Program Manager plays an important role in identifying and prioritizing process improvement opportunities, prescribing strategies, and guiding the improvement effort. You will be responsible for leading and driving process improvements (short-term wins) as well as process design/ redesign (long-term wins) efforts via kaizen initiatives and/or project management (PMP/Scrum). You will also be a coach and trainer for Lean Six Sigma-based continuous improvement methodologies.
This position requires a candidate with proven leadership ability to facilitate and guide the application of programs and advanced technology to process improvements.
Change management experience is also necessary because you will be motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment where explosive growth is occurring while achieving impeccable quality.

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $148,677-201,152/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. The pay range for this position in New York City is $163,545 – 221,266/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
