With multiple locations serving Southern California including San Diego, and Riverside, each Artemis site is fully equipped to conduct complex clinical research trials.
Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the Research Assistant will be responsible for supporting various activities associated with the day-to-day operations of the research department in the conduct of clinical trials in psychiatry and internal medicine.

Work Schedule: Monday/Thursday 9:30 am -6:00 pm; Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum education: Bachelors Degree in related field
Prior clinical research experience preferred
Minimum one year experience as Medical Assistant, Research Assistant or similar position; combination of education and experience will be considered
Nursing License, Medical Assistant Certificate or similar certification is preferred
Description of Responsibilities:
Own all laboratory processes and procedures (we can train on site)
Prep source charts, ensuring the most recent version of the source is always utilized
Collect and record vital signs
Perform EKGs and associated transmissions when required
Perform lab draws (including processing and shipping)
Assist with scheduling vendor-related subject appointments (e.g., imaging, eye appointments)
Clean, stock, and maintain department supplies and equipment in accordance with policy and duties as assigned
Assist with EDC entry related to source documentation as requested; this does NOT include query resolution
Skills/Competencies:
Demonstrate effective and professional communication (verbal and written) and ability to work efficiently with a diverse team of professionals
Demonstrate capability to understand and follow a clinical study protocol, obtain training, seek assistance when needed, and accurately perform required protocol procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Word and Excel) and ability to competently learn and utilize databases Customer service experience and ability to calmly and professionally resolve customer issues with diplomacy and tact
Ability to effectively utilize basic office and medical equipment and functions
Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
