Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity within our High-Risk Detection team. The High-Risk Detection Group is part of AML Operations supporting Global Banking, Global Markets, Consumer & Small Businesses LOBs with responsibility to detect high risk within the business scope through ongoing monitoring and due diligence. This is done through 4 Functional teams: AML Screening, Periodic Transaction Monitoring, Enhanced Client Diligence and Sanctions Monitoring. This role is to lead the BSM Function which is critical for the running of the High-Risk Detection team, this role will report to the Global HRD Business & Risk Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will have financial management experience: Budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial resources within the operations department.
• You will be responsible for managing Resourcing including Attrition, opens management, Talent Planning (including End of year and development)
• You will have vendor management experience: Overseeing relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality of service and cost-effectiveness.
• You will provide oversight on HRD team for delivery and control (Routine deliverables, Training, Control performance)
• You will have responsibility to deliver key LOB routines in readiness for executive leadership presentation and discussion.
• You will have strategy development experience: Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• You will have Process Improvement Experience: Identifying inefficiencies in operational processes and implementing improvements to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
• You will have risk management experience: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate operational risks. Assist in developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

What we are looking for:

• You will have experience as a COO covering Global Line of Businesses at Director Level
• You will have executive presence and good communication skills
• You will have Advanced PowerPoint Skills to build and present data in an informative, structured, and smart format.
• You will be organizationally savvy and possess influential skills; can work across organizational lines and regions to gain consensus and buy-in from senior stakeholders; leverages relationships to influence outcomes and drive decisions.

Skills that will help:

• Process improvement and six-sigma and/or data analysis experience with knowledge of using associated tooling
• AML or compliance-based knowledge is an advantage for this role
