Apprentices will be joining the ‘Technology Pathways’ Program, which is designed to introduce associates with little to no work experience to technology roles. The role is created to provide on the job training and build skills as an apprentice. Length of apprenticeship is pre-established for a set period of time. Work assignments are well defined with a high degree of supervision and direction provided.
Key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Provide analytical and technical skills to support the design, development, implementation of technology solutions to support our clients and manage risk
Responsible for delivering innovative capabilities in a team environment, as well as leveraging skills, background, and interests for a specific group within technology lines of business participating in the program
Required Skills/Minimum Qualifications:
Completed technology certification from partnered organization (Per Scholas or NPower)
Highly organized self-starter who can deliver results with minimal direction
Creative and proactive problem solver – ability to quickly grasp what the team needs and offer suggestions above and beyond what they are asking for
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork oriented
Demonstrated problem solving abilities
Commitment to learning and building a complete technical and business skill set
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technology/development and business partners – ability to translate between these two constituencies
Solid grasp of how technology interacts with other technology
Ability to build relationship and work effectively across multiple business partners
