The Team:
CFO Data Management (CFO DM) is responsible for ensuring data is timely, accurate and complete with respect to Bank of America’s Treasury Function’s needs and use cases
This role forms part of the Treasury Data Management Controls Team.
The CFO Data Management Controls Team is a horizontal function with three key areas of focus: execution of daily and monthly data quality controls, manual adjustments to address data issues and month end reconciliations to ensure complete and accurate data to downstream data consumers accountable for the adherence to regulatory mandates
The role will have responsibility for all aspects of CFO DM Controls functions including development, testing and implementation of Data Validation and Data Quality controls and manual adjustments
Responsibilities:
Execution of daily/monthly control routines supporting the completeness and accuracy of data consumed by downstream stakeholders
Conduct Data Quality/Data Validation investigations to determine root cause with focus on mitigating future reoccurrence, including daily reporting of identified breaks
Coordination of initial escalation to address exceptions, threshold breaches and data quality/data gap remediation
Engage and build relationships with business and technical stakeholders at varied levels to align on key objectives and provide data control oversight and proactively escalate and mitigate risk, and ensure adherence to applicable regulators and policies.
Collaborate with Product SMEs and business partners on data needs, upstream data sourcing, build and execution of new controls.
Collaborate across stakeholders including business reporting, product-specific data stewards, tech partners, upstream data providers/data management, and risk/compliance;
Operational Excellence – enhance CFO DM processes through identification and analysis of processes and own the delivery of solution(s)
Develop a strong knowledge of CFO DM Controls processes and how they link to stakeholder (GLM and BSM) daily/monthly reporting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a matrixed organization
Time management and ability to meet SLAs and deadlines
Preferred:
Knowledge and prior experience with Regulatory Reporting
SQL experience querying large sets of data
Basic knowledge of Tableau and/or Alteryx
Data Management experience
