This position on the LMA Loan Servicing Team, supports the growing LMA lending product, which is collateralized by Merrill clients’ brokerage accounts, and has grown from $28B in outstanding loans to over $43B today. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide specialized service to Merrill Lynch client associates and financial advisors related to all aspects of the LMA lending product. This includes available credit, interest rates for fixed and variable loans, account features such as FTS, LMA overdraft, and auto-deduct payments, payoff amounts, account opening for retail, trust and business accounts, and various maintenance inquiries.
After learning and supporting the core LMA product platform and key regulations for 3-6 months, high performers also have an opportunity for various offline LMA activities such as Email Inbox support, service inquiry analysis, PowerPoint (and video) ask MERRILL content development, drafting CA Weekly articles, training new team members, revising training materials, and cross-training in new functions. Building new relationships through frequent, direct interaction with LMA Operations areas, Underwriting Teams and LMA Business partners can open numerous paths for continued career growth opportunities.
