Job Description:
The Process Design Consultant I is responsible for supporting transformation and enabling programs that drive high-impact process improvement across Consumer, Small Business and Wealth Management Operations and beyond. Works closely with process engineers to achieve breakthrough productivity improvements. Provides project management support to vertical and horizontal transformation opportunities. Fosters a continuous improvement mindset by enhancing process management skills & capabilities.
This specific position is a Process Design Consultant role with a strong Project Management component.
Engages with business partners to analyze, implement, and update processes by utilizing sound process improvement models and techniques.
Responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
Manages design or redesign of processes or projects using Six Sigma methodologies. Integrates best practices with process design to ensure continuous process improvement. Builds action plans and drives execution.
Supports change management deliverables and project documentation (issue/risk logs, status reports, requirements documentation, design documentation, project plans).
Effectively communicates with leaders, managers, peers and business partners on strategy, deliverables, timelines and support needed.
Partners with the Process Engineers to develop and execute plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change.

Desired skills:
3-5 years related experience in Process design and/or project management support experience
Ability to navigate effectively/creatively through roadblocks in a professional, diplomatic demeanor
Operational knowledge of Consumer, Small Business and Wealth Management Operations
Experience with process quality and performance improvement
Good foresight for detecting risks and thinking of creative ways to solve/mitigate the risks
Experience with PPRT and Bank of America Change Management standards
