Develop new formulations for inkjet-based deposition processes for near-eye optical components
Translate Optic Design requirements into appropriate inkjet chemistry, equipment and process parameters
Work closely with the research and engineering staff to design and execute design of experiments
Build collaborative relationships both internally and externally to support research initiatives
Act as the Research Staff tool owner for internal work
Manage external collaborations and development activity towards project deliverables
PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical and Materials Science and Engineering, or a similar field
3+ years of experience in inkjet-based materials development for semiconductor or display manufacturing
3+ years of experience with characterization of materials using techniques like DSC, TGA, DMA, UV-Vis, GPC, etc
Experience in inkjet process development and knowledge of printhead technology
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience in an industrial Research and Development environment developing scalable processes
Demonstrated experience working within a team or lead a team towards inkjet materials development
Experience leveraging to leverage industrial contacts to deliver a total inkjet solution
Demonstrated experience identifying and grow partnerships and to manage sophisticated external engagements
2+ years of experience in delivering additive manufacturing solutions using inkjet technology
Experience with organic and inorganic optical materials development and formulations
Experience in developing materials for consumer electronics
Experience in building thin films stacks especially for optical applications
