Business Development Manager, Avatar & Identity Responsibilities:
Define, negotiate, and close deals for game development, distribution, publishing, and IP licensing
Manage strategic partnerships with brand and IP licensors
Operate effectively with external partners across verticals such as fashion, sports, film/TV, music and gaming
Work closely with internal product managers and producers to support key titles on business and operational issues throughout development and post-launch
Work cross-functionally with content, marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners, and educate on industry benchmarks and trends
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years in business development roles
Relevant digital experience working within Fashion, Film/TV, Sports, Music, Gaming, and/or IP licensing verticals
Experience interpreting legal documents, negotiating contracts, and working with attorneys to complete agreements
Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate, complete and onboard strategic partnership deals
Experience working in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment
Interpersonal skills and experience developing working relationships with internal and external partners
Independent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized, experience keeping multiple projects and partner engagements active at once
Proven communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
JD or MBA
