Expense Operations Analyst Responsibilities:
Execute internal control programs established by company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and implement changes. Manage continuous monitoring operations. Define requirements, perform system testing and analyze results.
Perform complex reconciliations and analysis to validate rules are triggered as designed and recommend and implement policy controls and system changes as needed. Participate in critical analysis of existing systems and processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Use problem solving skills to analyze large and complex business problems by preparing and building greater insights through the collection and analysis of data trends. Define, build and track key performance metrics to measure success and iterate on opportunities for optimization.
Manage internal expense community support groups and develop employee facing communications, intranet pages, resource materials and training. Lead and execute project specific communications to TEC peers, department (Source to Pay) leadership, stakeholders and end-user community groups.
Resolve escalations for auditors, expense and corporate card helpdesk. Assist in oversight and support T&E shared services teams.
Facilitate the research and analysis of audit issues raised by external and internal audit.
Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned relating to TEC.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years experience in Finance, Accounts Payable, Audit, and/or related experience in a global company
BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
Knowledge of expense management industry acumen and technology
Experience identifying financial operations process opportunities along with implementing improvements
Interpersonal experience, with a track record of working with business stakeholders and shared services teams
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with global management of TMC, corporate card and/or expense programs
Concur administration experience
Project management experience
Expertise in effective data storytelling
