Facebook App Looking For Finance Systems Manager at Remote Full Time

Meta (formally Facebook) is seeking a Finance Systems Manager to join the Finance team in a full-time position. The individual must be a self-starter and visionary who thinks big and takes full ownership of the vision while being a pragmatic and innovative leader. This individual will work closely with a variety of cross-functional teams including Product, Accounting, Enterprise Engineering, Finance Business Partners (FBP), Finance Transformation and the rest of the cross-functional teams. They would be responsible for managing the Finance systems used by various business users. The ideal candidate will be able to work well with cross functional teams, including providing guidance, making decisions, building consensus, and influencing all levels of partners. They will need to recognize how to strike a balance on getting the details right while still moving fast enough to support the rapid business growth. The candidate must be a highly driven, high energy, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels.

Finance Systems Manager Responsibilities:
Understand Product and engineering systems landscape that has Finance interfacing

Build relationships with all of the system engineering teams, and ensure that roadmaps reflect accounting team requirements

Support efforts to shape the systems agenda for Finance, including supporting all business initiatives and launches

Develop forward looking systems roadmap for Data and analytics platforms

Lead and manage implementation of new systems and enhancements across all phases (design, build, test and deploy), including assessing resource needs, coordinating with our various Engineering partners

Partner with and influence our Engineering partners in developing a strategic roadmap for future enhancements and changes, with a goal to streamline, automate and transform the financial process

Leverage industry leading practices and the latest trends of technology changes in Finance and bring in those solutions to our roadmap (e.g. RPA, SQL, R models)

Lead special projects and other duties as assigned

Drive further collaboration with Finance Product teams to ensure alignment while executing systems and analytics roadmap

Basic hands-on SQL, dashboards, reporting skills

Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance or a similar field working on systems and scaling processes

Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience working and problem solving independently, to effect change, to organize workload and priorities, and complete tasks on time

Leadership experience partnering with and influencing cross functional leaders across an organization at all levels

Experience providing clear guidance to broader team of folks not directly reporting to individual

Experience designing and implementing business processes and systems based on business priorities

Self-starter with attention to detail yet possesses an understanding of the “big picture”. Experience to operate with a high degree of autonomy

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing and implementing financial systems

Experience with data platforms, Oracle Financials or other similar systems, Tableau, Hive

Experience in systems environment with a majority of customized builds & solutions

Experience in Payments, Commerce, Creator systems

Highly collaborative temperament, excellent communication skills and demonstrated knowledge to work in a fast-paced environment
