Act as the primary liaison between ODM and Facebook teams monitoring, managing and driving the ODM to assure build goals/schedule is being met
Work cross-functionally to develop and manage product BOM and cost
Alignment of NPI BOM’s to AVL and commodity technologies
Complete TCO analysis to ensure project cost are meeting or beating cost objectives
Communicate forecast and verify fulfillment from a materials perspective
Propose and execute solutions to eliminate shortages impacting build and ship schedules
Interactions involve strategic and tactical procurement activities in a global environment
Assess and mitigate BOM risk across the supply chain
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain or 4+ equivalent years of experience
4+ years of supply chain/materials experience in NPI environment
Proven knowledge of EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment & turnkey materials management, cost modeling, supply chain design, and reverse logistics
Demonstrated experience driving a plan to bring resolution to differing opinions, reaching out across functional boundaries to drive collaboration and sharing credit in a team environment
Experience using Agile BOM management tools
Experience working with Asia based suppliers
Experience and knowledge with hardware design
Experience in activities around RFQ package creation, source selection, specification creation, cost analysis, and price negotiation with appropriate team members
