Payments Manager Responsibilities:
Review reports and support files to ensure internal and external reporting is complete and accurate
Ensure regulatory deadlines and operational obligations for reporting are submitted timely
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and integrate compliance requirements in related processes, policies and procedures
Develop and update policy and procedural documents
Manage monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting processes
Participate in projects with various cross functional teams
Assist with the implementation and changes in payments processes with a focus on process improvement and automation
Support periodic audits from internal & external parties and regulatory bodies, as required
Create various ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed in all areas of financial compliance
Develop and maintain relationships with internal team members and cross-functional teams globally
Assist in building out a compliance framework with a focus on financial data and regulatory reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
Knowledge of general accounting or auditing principles
Experience with financial statements and general ledger entries or review
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft tools
Experience executing and delivering accurate work in a dynamic, fast-paced and deadline driven environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Regulatory experiences or in a role regularly interacting with regulators
7+ years of experience or involvement with relevant regulatory bodies
Knowledgeable in state financial code requirements and how they are applied by regulators
Knowledge of money transmission or e-money reporting requirements
Programming or systems knowledge
Financial and/or regulatory audit experience
