Develop cost modeling strategies to predict Facebook’s future spend across multiple data center sites by applying algorithms and techniques to create efficient models, capturing necessary cost criteria
Support Oracle Unifier implementation that requires designing the architecture and data flow from legacy systems to new Unifier implementation
Design backend architecture to enable normalization, indexing, and extraction of data in a controlled environment to support data exchange across multiple systems efficiently
Create buy-in with 80+ stakeholders across 20 data center sites
Track all global GDCC costs, developing forecasts and cost models, and engaging with accounting/finance to ensure and report on the financial health of the organization
Develop key performance indexes (KPI’s) to provide visibility on business risks and opportunities
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 24 months of experience in the following:
PowerPoint, Oracle, and Hyperion
Utilizing MySQL or Hive to leverage large data sets
Analyzing large volumes of data to identify deliverables or to provide data driven insights, gaps, and inconsistencies
ETL framework for data modeling and analysis
