Team Leadership: Build and work closely with a team to execute against our Public Affairs marketing strategy.
Build impactful relationships and serve as a dependable point of contact for all internal and external cross-functional partners.
Establish and execute activities that build team culture and community, team values and trust, and help individuals tie their work back to Meta’s mission.
Overall Marketing Strategy and Execution: Define, prioritize and manage Public Affairs Marketing initiatives based on company priorities, potential impact and resources.
Lead key meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives, establish clear next steps and owners and resolve blocks that impede progress.
Develop and execute plans to measure impact of programs and initiatives both quantitatively and qualitatively.
Creative & Media Strategy: Work closely with policy, communications, product, creative, research and other cross-functional teams to ensure work is aligned with business priorities and grounded in research.
Work with our core marketing team to manage the production process for all creative concepts with internal and external partners.
Partner with the media planning team to develop (and evolve) media plans that effectively reach target audience.
Communication: Manage up and down with effective communication and proactive problem solving.
Manage program communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure broad understanding of roles and responsibilities, as well as relevant updates and asks.
BA/BS Degree
12+ years work experience in marketing at an internet or high-tech company, consulting firm or agency (government and campaign experience also valuable)
Experience working with product, marketing, policy, communications and creative teams at all levels of management, both internally and externally
Experience managing complex programs within a cross-functional environment
Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
