Facebook App Looking For Solutions Engineer at Remote Full Time

Our team is looking for fast-moving engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset. As a Solutions Engineer at Meta, you will grow industries by identifying new features, products, and business opportunities and enable partner businesses to realize the full potential of those opportunities. You will write scalable production-grade code across Meta’s platforms in collaboration with other product engineering teams. This role will allow you to execute on solving real-world business challenges through Meta’s platforms and community. The Solutions Engineering team at Meta is comprised of creative problem solvers and strategic software engineers who collaborate with clients to understand their challenges and architect solutions. We are at the cross function of business and engineering helping Meta’s marketing and advertising partners succeed and reach their business goals with Meta products, by finding technology solutions to meet their needs. We are passionate about working closely with our external clients and partners across many industries — travel, retail, e-commerce, gaming, financial services, automotive, entertainment and beyond.

Solutions Engineer Responsibilities:
Builds new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams to meet business needs

Actively seek out and apply knowledge of products, technologies and business to build solutions to solve for problems at scale

Independently break down coding projects into tasks and partner with all applicable teams and partners to meet pre-established goals

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews conducted of your code

Maintain relationships with partner teams and clients (internal and external) and present technical opportunities in a consulting capacity

Assist in on-boarding of new team members

Willingness to travel 25% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience shipping production quality code

Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Experience shipping and launching production level code with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with all appropriate reviewers, in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plans

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience contributing to open source projects, shared code repositories, and/or personal projects

Experience with contributing to the development community (blogs, Stack Overflow, Quora, slack, etc.)

Experience working in highly collaborative environments
