Solutions Engineer, Stability Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot complex technical issues in collaboration with product teams, to debug or enhance product, to mitigate adverse effects to clients business and present findings to client
Maintain relationships with partner teams and clients (internal and external) and present technical opportunities in a consulting capacity
Build technical expertise in Facebook products including Ads API, Pages, Platform and provide consultative guidance
Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Facebook product engineering teams to meet business needs
Understand client’s business goals, and proactively seek out, and apply knowledge of products, technologies, and business, specifically within the ads ecosystem, to build solutions to solve for problems at scale
Ship and launch production level code in manageable pieces, with relevant descriptions, test plans, documentation, unit integration tests In various languages(i.e. Python, PHP, SQL, Javascript)
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews conducted of your code
Understand Facebook’s system architecture and integration components to propose solutions that unblock client business opportunities or enhance stability
Document and develop best practices to help cross-functional partners, clients, and all FB customers
Assist in on-boarding of new team members
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
3+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or partner/sales engineer
Communication skills including experience communicating to both technical and non-technical (business/marketing/sales) audiences
Software development skills with experience building software developed in (any of) Python, PHP, C/C++, Ruby, C# or Java
Experience writing SQL
Experience working with global teams
