In this role, you will help serve as a strategic advisor to various stakeholders and execute the engagement and communication strategy for the org.The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative thinker who excels at collaborating cross functionally and has a program management background, excellent communication skills, a passion for diversity and inclusion, and a strong eye for detail. They thrive in and enjoy a fast paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment, love problem solving, storytelling and working on high profile projects. Develop streamlined processes and mechanisms to improve operational efficiency and communication
Manage multiple projects at once, working closely with various teams and leaders across the company
Develop and execute employee engagement, D&I, and communications strategies and plans to support business objectives
Create compelling narratives about Facebook’s people, products and role in the world
Build strong relationships and offer tactical and strategic communications advice to leaders and their teams
Draft and edit, blog posts, All Hands content, Q&A, internal and external communications, narratives, and other communications on behalf of the executives
Develop and manage relationships with business leaders, the D&I team, internal and external stakeholders
Author and drive org-wide communications, which includes partnering with various stakeholders and leaders
Develop, review and maintain the existing resources, internal communities, and wikis to determine opportunities to improve and ensure the content is current, relevant and impactful
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English
5+ years of experience working for senior leaders in business, government, political campaigns, or nonprofits
Communication and coordination skills
Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders
Consumer products experience
Experience working with confidential information while maintaining discretion and secrecy
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Excellent communicator with a keen attention to detail
Experience working with and influence a range of stakeholders
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in working with, creating and editing for C-suite leadership
