Our team partners closely with leaders to set the strategic direction of the long-term product roadmap. We analyze the trends that shape our world, and apply them to our portfolio of products to identify how to position Facebook for long-term success. We particularly focus on themes of monetization and how to evolve Facebook’s business model.This specific role will provide support for product teams within Facebook Financial (F2), which includes payments experiences and Novi. These are exciting and rapidly evolving spaces requiring a candidate that can quickly assess new opportunities and translate them into product recommendations (often based on imperfect data from multiple sources). This role is highly cross-functional and requires influencing executive leadership across Facebook.
Build a deep understanding of our existing business using internal and external data
Strategically evaluate new product opportunities, and how they fit in a product portfolio
Work with cross-functional partners (product, data science, engineering, user research) to surface opportunities and threats, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations
Bachelor or Master degree
8+ years of experience in business strategy and/or Product Management at leading or startup tech/media company and/or strategy consulting
4+ years experience working in the payments/fintech industry (e.g., digital wallets, PSPs, networks, financial service platforms)
Quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen
Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting
Knowledge of drivers within a technology business
Experience shifting priorities, while maintaining organization and control
Proven track-record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results
Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions
Experience working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
