We are looking for an experienced, intellectually curious and autonomous Project Manager to lead large and impactful global projects across key safety areas for Facebook and Instagram.
Develop an understanding of safety issues and the architecture and integration points of Facebook’s community safety support processes, products, and policies
Develop and lead end-to-end project plans with a focus on policy operations and ensure on-time delivery of critical initiatives to combat hate, terrorist, and criminal organizations
Develop and lead global projects by establishing goals, milestones, and partnering with team members and leaders across the organization on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and sharing results
Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development, working directly with global cross-functional teams and influencing high level strategy
Track and analyze key operational metrics to understand the investigations and abuse ecosystem and help determine where to focus optimization efforts
Partner with Engineering, Policy, Security, and Analytics to identify, influence, and execute our abuse fighting strategies
Build relationships with global and cross-functional partners across policy to drive improvements to safety and Dangerous Organizations
Provide real-time support, expertise and guidance during escalations as part of a broader cross functional effort
Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, an MS or MBA degree
4+ years of experience in an operations, project management, consulting, analytics, technology or equivalent environment
3+ years of experience initiating and autonomously driving highly complex and cross-functional projects to completion
Experience communicating to and influencing a variety of audiences
Strategic thinker with analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Experience working in the technology sector or other relevant fast-paced environments
Experience in working within the Trust & Safety, Security or Dangerous Organizations industry
Experience with process design, implementation, and improvement
Knowledge of data tools such as SQL, SAS and or data visualization (e.g. Tableau) tools
Fluent in a middle eastern language
