The mission of the Global Strategy, Planning & Operations (SP&O) group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the Media Partnerships organization – through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence.In this analyst role, you’ll work closely with Strategic Partner Managers, Product, Data Engineering, and Operations teams and other cross-functional partners to conduct in-depth analyses that will empower our media partnerships team to deliver the greatest value to our partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience in working with stakeholders from business and technical backgrounds, the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a passion for operational rigor.
Develop operational reviews and rhythm of the business to drive decision-making and review progress on goals and priorities (e.g. monthly/quarterly business reviews and real time dashboards)
Enable the Media Partnerships team to plan, execute, report on and monitor each vertical’s KPIs through reports, dashboards and self-service solutions
Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and ecosystem trends as they relate to media partners
Generate insights into vertical/sub-vertical/partner performance, product adoption, leading KPI indicators, goal vs. actuals
Identify, analyze and troubleshoot data issues, exceptions and discrepancies
Make recommendations and help guide decisions through collaborative work with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data Engineering, Operations, among others
Define and help to set targets for team goals and support account planning processes
3+ years of experience working in an analytical capacity developing insights, defining metrics, and making recommendations
2+ years of proven experience visualizing data
2+ years of SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, etc.) or relational database experience (Oracle, MySQL)
Experience navigating and working with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
2+ years of experience with packages such as Python, R, Tableau, SPSS, SAS, Looker, etc.
Experience or familiarity with CRM platforms (ex. Salesforce, Oracle CRM, SAP CRM)
