One of the People team’s key strategic initiatives is to bring more consistency and fairness to the career experience by updating the way we define skills and jobs across Facebook, setting a strong foundation for scale as Facebook grows. This role will lead the execution of this initiative, and serve as a strategist/advisor on how the skills are embedded into people’s experience across the employee lifecycle.
Leading the end-to-end change management of the skills framework evolution. Working with People Analytics, Compensation, and HRBPs to synthesize job and skill insights and presenting data, narratives plus recommendations to leadership to support adoption and ongoing change management effort
Building a strategic vision for how skills can be embedded across the employee experience lifecycle (e.g. Recruiting, Learning, Careers, Performance), and working across all teams in People@ as an advisor on skill integration and change management
Operating as a business advisor on talent initiatives through developing strong relationships with leaders and synthesizing information and facilitating decision-making. Develop roadmap alignment/synergy, innovation, and benefit realization within and across personas (e.g., candidates, incumbents, managers, leaders, recruiters, HR business partners)
Partnering to craft personas, philosophies and narratives and leveraging these with People Engineering to ensure skill integrations deliver a consistent, inclusive and impactful end to end Employee Experience
Partnering on development of success criteria, analytics and metrics/KPIs, ensuring these are aligned to key People@ priorities, messaged for optimal impact, adopted across People@ programs plus products, and effectively managed against expectations
Designing and updating stakeholder mapping solutions to track implementation progress, leveraging data and sensing with partners to generate insights to modify timelines and/or approach to ensure success
Maintaining engagement through communication and progress updates with key People@ leadership including attending People@ leadership meetings as necessary, providing direction to project management, aligning and integrating with any existing People@ priorities, navigating trade-offs, and enabling expectation management
10+ years experience in leading people teams, HR business partner, or people operations
Demonstrated experience in results building and sustaining complex cross-functional relationships
Experience with leading complex change management with senior leadership stakeholders
Experience with strategy development and program design/management
Experience thinking creatively and prototyping new ideas
Experience operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment
BA/BS degree or equivalent HR work experience
